At the Women’s Prize for Fiction, each year we’re lucky to work with some wonderful bloggers, YouTubers and Instagrammers. One of our favourite times of year is the build up to our longlist announcement when bloggers and vloggers far and wide try to guess the books that will make that year’s cut.

In 2019, we’ve had an array of trendsetters from the world of books trying to guess this year’s sixteen longlisted books. Below are a few vlogger guesses, why not watch and join in the conversation on Twitter and Instagram with your own predictions!

And make sure you stay tuned as we’ll be revealing the longlist tonight at one minute past midnight!

First up, here’s the fantastic Anna James and Eric Karl Anderson discussing their picks.

Next up, the always erudite Simon Savidge with his longlist predictions:

And finally, the brilliant Mercedes Mills chooses her favourite eligible books.

Right, now it’s your turn! Tweet or Instagram us @WomensPrize and tell us your predictions for tonight’s longlist announcement.
