“I’m extremely excited for everyone to be privy to the conversations I’ve been lucky enough to have!’ ”

Subsequent Season 3 Bookshelfie episodes will feature Women’s Prize ‘Winner of Winners’ Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; comedian and actor, Sara Pascoe; DJ and author Annie Macmanus; comedian and Guilty Feminist presenter, Deborah Frances-White and journalist and campaigner Afua Hirsh. Further ahead, Yomi will host three episodes discussing the 2021 Women’s Prize Shortlist (announcing Wednesday 28 April). Her guests on this segment will include authors Yassmin Abdel-Magied, Candice Brathwaite, Michelle Elman, Kuchenga, Bella Mackie, Raven Smith, Otegha Uwagba, and Phoebe Fox.

Yomi said: ‘I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Women’s Prize podcast as host, which has been an excellent excuse to indulge in my favourite things over the past few month: reading fantastic books by brilliant women and then having thought-provoking discussions about them, with women I hugely admire. We have an amazing line-up of guests this season, as well as an incredibly strong longlist of books for the prize – I’m extremely excited for everyone to be privy to the conversations I’ve been lucky enough to have!’
