Don’t miss our live Shortlist Readings this Tuesday!

For the first time ever, we’re opening up Bedford Square Garden, the stunning central London garden in which our awards party will take place, to the public. You are invited to join us for a day of special events, including the Women’s Prize Shortlist Readings with our 2021 Chair of Judges Bernardine Evaristo, on Tuesday 7th September at 7pm, the day before of our announcement of the 2021 winner.

Chaired by the 2021 Chair of Judges and award-winning author Bernardine Evaristo and hosted by Founder-Director of the Women’s Prize for Fiction and bestselling author Kate Mosse, the event will feature readings and interviews with the 2021 shortlisted authors, plus discussion about their nominated books and the opportunity to ask your own questions.

The event will be followed by a book signing. All of this year’s books will be available to buy from our Waterstones pop-up, and for the first time ever, we will be running a pop-up shop selling official Women’s Prize merchandise. You can also opt to buy books and merchandise with your ticket.
