Women’s Prize 2022 Shortlist Readings

A very special edition of our annual live shortlist readings, hosted by Kate Mosse and Chair of Judges Mary Ann Sieghart.

Join us to celebrate this year’s shortlist in style in the beautiful Bedford Square Gardens!

As the six authors shortlisted for the 2022 Women’s Prize for Fiction convene on the eve of the winner announcement, we invite you into the stunning central London garden in which the awards party will take place. This is an event not to be missed!

Chaired by this year’s Chair of Judges, Mary Ann Sieghart, and hosted by Founder Director of the Women’s Prize for Fiction and bestselling author Kate Mosse, the event will feature readings and interviews with all six of the 2022 shortlisted authors, plus discussion about the nominated books and their impact in this remarkable year, and the opportunity to put your questions to the speakers live.

Gates open at 6pm, so make the most of rare access to these private gardens and arrive early to enjoy a drink in the sunshine. The event will begin at 7pm and will be followed by book signings. Books will be available to buy from our Waterstones pop-up, and we will be running a pop-up shop selling official Women’s Prize merchandise. You can also opt to buy books and merchandise as an add-on with your ticket.

All ticket holders will receive a special gift from Baileys and a copy of Good Housekeeping magazine.
