The Last Black Unicorn

Tiffany Haddish

Tiffany learnt at a young age that she could make people laugh and if she could make people laugh she could get homework notes from her classmates, the other kids in the foster home wouldn’t beat her up and maybe, just maybe she could get herself a boyfriend.

Using laughter as currency, growing up in one of the poorest neighbourhoods in LA, Tiffany managed to make space for herself and whilst she hasn’t managed to get herself a boyfriend, she has landed her dream job. In her breathtakingly funny memoir, Tiffany tells us how she made her dreams come true despite the odds that were stacked against her.
